Mountain Line Environmental Assessment – City of Baker City, OR
AP’s Natural Resources Group prepared an Environmental Assessment (EA) for work to replace sections of Baker City’s “Mountain Line.” The Mountain Line is the pipeline routing municipal water from the City’s watershed west of the City to the municipal storage reservoir. The purpose of the EA was to comply with the National Environmental Policy Act requirements for completion of the work. Additionally, AP’s project archaeologist completed a cultural resources survey and report to comply with Section 106 requirements. This included surveying almost 20 miles of pipeline and evaluating impacts to archaeological sites and historic resources within the project.
