Development - Case Study

AP worked with the City of La Grande and the Union County Economic Development Corporation (UCEDC) to design and build a $2.1 million, 79-acre business and technology park. What were once undeveloped properties zoned for industrial and business usage are now fully developed properties that are "shovel-ready," available for immediate use.

AP provided the development planning, permitting for utility crossings, design engineering, and construction engineering for park infrastructure improvements including water, sewer, power, cable, gas, fiber-optics, roadways, sidewalks, storm drainage, and streetlights. This development will enable the City of La Grande and the UCEDC to offer low-cost, ready-to-build sites to new and existing businesses that provide family-wage jobs. The La Grande Urban Renewal Agency fully funded the project's improvements, and the development is already attracting businesses to the area.
