Position: Senior Water and/or Wastewater Project Engineer
Location: La Grande, Oregon
Position Type: Full-time
Base Pay: DOE

Responsibilities

This position will be responsible for managing multiple projects. Responsibilities include project scope and budget development, project design, construction engineering, directing project coordination meetings with clients and staff, project funding development, and participating in public meetings.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience managing water and/or wastewater projects for public entities (Cities, Counties, Ports, Districts, etc.). Candidate should demonstrate experience with the some of following types of projects:

Wastewater:

• Collection system piping and pumping
• Treatment reuse and disposal design
• Lagoon treatment systems
• Mechanical treatment plant systems
• Wetland treatment systems

Water:

• Source development and rehabilitation of wells, springs, and surface water supplies
• Piping, pumping, and distribution system analysis and design
• Drinking water treatment and disinfection
• Storage systems design

Additionally, candidates must have an Oregon Professional Engineering License or be able to obtain the License within one year of employment. Candidates must be comfortable with public speaking and directing meetings with clients, contractors, and other staff.
