Position: Water System Project Manager
Location: La Grande, Oregon
Position Type: Full-time
Base Pay: $65,000 - $85,000

Responsibilities

As a Water System Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading project teams that develop studies, reports, drawings, specifications, and contract documents used for construction of various water system-related improvements. Projects are often performed for local and state government clients or other publicly held entities.  Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, transmission line design, water source design and development, pumping system design, piping design, treatment system design, storage design, in-field technical assistance for construction, utilities coordination, subconsultant management and coordination, leadership and coordination of project meetings, coordination of environmental permits and clearances, coordination with clients and contractors, preparation of cost and quantities estimates, participation in public meetings, direction of project team members, and meeting the financial goals of both your clients and the company. 

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have at least five (5) years of experience in water system-related work such as developing studies, reports, plans, specifications, and contract documents as well as two (2) years of experience leading and managing project teams.  An Oregon Professional Engineer’s License or the ability to obtain this license is also required.
