Position: Wastewater System Project Manager
Location: La Grande, Oregon
Position Type: Full-time
Base Pay: $65,000 - $85,000

Responsibilities

As a Wastewater System Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading project teams that develop studies, reports, drawings, specifications, and contract documents for construction of wastewater system-related improvements projects.  Projects are often performed for local and state government clients or other publicly held entities. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, performing work for projects involving collection systems, pumping systems, treatment reuse, disposal design, lagoon treatment systems, mechanical treatment systems, and wetland treatment systems.  Additional tasks may include providing in-field technical assistance for construction, coordinating utilities, managing and coordinating subconsultants, leading and coordinating project meetings, coordinating environmental permits and clearances, coordinating with clients and contractors, preparing cost and quantities estimates, participating in public meetings, directing project team members, and meeting the financial goals of both your clients and the company.   

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have at least five (5) years of experience in wastewater-related work such as developing studies, reports, plans, specifications, and contract documents as well as two (2) years of experience leading and managing project teams. An Oregon Professional Engineer’s License or the ability to obtain this license is also required.
