Position: Water System Project Engineer
Location: Walla Walla, Washington
Position Type: Full-time
Base Pay: $50,000 - $65,000

Responsibilities

As a Water System Project Engineer, you will be responsible for assisting with the development of studies, reports, drawings, specifications, and contract documents for construction of various water system improvements. Projects are often performed for local and state government clients or other publicly held entities. Project tasks may include, but are not limited to, transmission line design, water source design and development, pumping system design, piping design, treatment system design, storage design, in-field technical assistance for construction, and utilities coordination.  Additional responsibilities may include providing assistance to project managers in coordinating with subconsultants, leading and coordinating project meetings, coordinating environmental permits and clearances, coordinating with clients and contractors, preparing cost estimates, preparing quantities estimates, participating in public meetings, and meeting the financial goals of both your clients and the company. 

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have at least three (3) years of experience in water system-related work such as developing studies, reports, plans, specifications, and contract documents.  A Washington Professional Engineer’s License or the ability to obtain this license is also required.
