Position: Project Manager
Location: La Grande, Oregon
Position Type: Full-time
Base Pay: $75,000 - $85,000 per year plus benefits

Responsibilities

This position will be responsible for managing multiple projects and staff. Responsibilities include project scope and budget development, project planning, design, and construction engineering, directing project coordination meetings with clients and staff, project funding development, and participating in public meetings for water, wastewater, and other infrastructure projects.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have at least ten (10) years of experience managing water, wastewater, and/or other infrastructure projects for public entities (cities, counties, ports, districts, etc.). Candidates should demonstrate experience with some of following types of projects:

Wastewater:

• Collection system piping and lift stations
• Treatment, reuse, and disposal design
• Lagoon treatment systems
• Mechanical treatment plant systems
• Wetland treatment systems

Water:

• Source development and rehabilitation of wells, springs, and surface water supplies
• Piping, pumping, and distribution system analysis and design
• Drinking water treatment and disinfection
• Storage systems design

Additionally, candidates must have a Professional Engineering License. Candidates must be comfortable with public speaking and directing meetings with clients, the public, contractors, and other staff.
